Condolence: To Paul's family: There are so many wonderful memories of Paul; of him and Eddie felling a huge pine tree on the children's swing set, his singing, all his kind words and enormous hugs, how much my children always loved him and how they anticipated trick-or- treat for them and his house. But when I feel myself feeling "weepy" over the loss we'll always have in our hearts with him away, I think of him and Lecile, Doc, and Dwight, and all the riggers who formed such a closely-knit group of friends at the "company" gone ahead and the laughing and joy they'll share waiting for us when we get there with them, and I can't help but smile thinking of the sight they'll make! He was one of the warmest, kindest men we have known. We'll miss him so much, and our thoughts and prayers will stay with all of you who loved him so dearly and so long.

Condolence: Paul knew more about Lake Blue Ridge than most historians including the history of the trees during the clearing for the lake. He loved to sit on the dock with Corienne for hours enjoying watching the water. He was kind and good. He will be a greatly missed neighbor. With sympathy, Roger

Condolence: Paul, Sr. was "much of a man" while he was a rigger for the company. It was hard to see him in his latter years and remember just how much of a man he was. I think that strength and stature carried him into and through his service for God. May God Bless and keep each of you during this troubling time. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
