The Finch Funeral Home in McCaysville, Georgia, was established in 1956 by Millard Finch and his son, Buddy. In 1991, the Finch family sold the funeral home to Max and Steve Cochran, at which time it became known as "Finch-Cochran Funeral Home".
In recent years, the building has been completely remodeled and updated, in an effort to better serve the community. An elegant chapel, large state rooms, hallways and public areas, along with a spacious kitchen and dining hall, are decorated throughout with antique furniture and with soothing, tasteful colors. The parking area is very large and accomodating, with parking for over 200 vehicles.
Max and Steve Cochran and their staff, as Golden Rule Funeral Directors, are here to shoulder the burden for every family when they suffer a loss. That's their job and what they have been trained to do.
